Story is pregnant!

Story and Nero are going to be parents! We expect our little bundles to arrive around the first of August.

Story is doing well. She seems to have fully recovered from her infection. Hopefully her fur will grow in soon. She has that 'tell-tale' patch missing from her front leg. Her abdomen was shaved, as well as patches on either side under her tail... and the under part of her tail was trimmed.

She is gaining her weight back, slowly, but is still under what she was prior to her illness.

Horror Story!!!
Our girl developed a Pyometra! We decided not to fool around and got her to the, Ontario Veterinary College, in Guelph. There she stayed for 11 days. Hopefully, she will still be able to have, at least one litter, and pass on her genes. She will have to be bred on her next heat.... we are all praying for a miracle.

The clinic is actually closed, but, they are letting us take our girl home for the Easter weekend.
